Can You Download YouTube Clips?
Yes. YouTube does not offer a built-in download button for most videos, but you can save public clips by copying the share link. ClipSaver reads that URL and gives you a downloadable file. This works for regular videos, highlights, and most public content you can open on youtube.com or in the YouTube app.
Only download content you own or have permission to save. ClipSaver is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.

Tips When Downloading YouTube Clips
- Use the full youtube.com or youtu.be URL — shortened share links work too.
- Public videos download reliably. Private, members-only, or age-restricted content may not be available.
- Pick a lower resolution if you want a smaller file size; 720p is enough for most clips.
- For music or podcasts, choose MP3 instead of MP4 to save storage space.
- If a download fails, refresh the page, copy the link again, and retry.
